Get a load of all of these videos, amirite? In this day and age, when music videos are no longer a sure bet to sell an album, it’s nice to see such strong efforts (I’m looking at you, Deerhoof). On the other hand, no one says you have to make a video, so maybe you’re sometimes better off without ‘em (take THAT, Micachu and The Shapes)?

This week Chris and I begin the journey towards a more perfect mixtape for him in the new feature “This Is Just a Mixtape, I’m Not Trying to Have Sex With You”. Join us as we discuss embarrassing favorites, Beatles v. Stones and unruly sea captains.
